MIG Welding Wires
FAIRWELD MIG/MAG/ CO2 wire is a copper coated, manganese and silicon alloyed solid welding wire for the gas shielded metal arc welding [GMAW] of non-alloyed steels conforming to AWS A5.18M ER70S-6 standard.
The welding wire is manufactured using some innovative processes that result in a very smooth surface of the wire taking MIG welding operations to new levels of performance, especially in robotic and automatic welding. Its characteristic features include trouble-free feeding at high wire speeds and very long welds, a very stable arc at high welding currents, very low levels of spatter, low fume emission, reduced contact tip and liner wear and longer protection against corrosion of the wire. The weld deposit is of very low diffusible hydrogen content and of excellent radiographic quality.
FAIRWELD MIG/MAG/ CO2 wire finds application in welding of automobile chassis, motorcycle and cycle frames, automotive components, railway wagons, pressure vessels, wheel rims, LPG cylinders, tractor axels, steel structures etc. FAIRWELD MIG/MAG/CO2 wire is approved by Research Design and Standards Organization (RDSO), BHEL-Tirchy, Bureau of Indian Standards and Gun Carriage Factory, Jabalpur.
